Since the early days of the flick-book style cartoon it has been blatantly obvious that animated drawings were going to capture our imaginations, and as time progressed, it was obvious too, that this was not a genre earmarked for 'children only.'
Although there has seemed to be an almost perpetual flow of technological innovations within the industry, nothing has yet bettered the patience of the film maker's frame by frame construction of his vision.
Whether you are spell-bound by the magic of Disney, titillated by antics of the stage-setting Tom and Jerry, or enthralled by the brilliance, charm and humour of Wallace and Grommet, a creation spawn by the mastery of the lesser used art of Claymation, these, and other ground breaking 'nouvelle cuisine', which include, among others, the likes of The Simpsons, Futurama and Beavis and Butt-Head will continue to mesmerise the young and the old for a long, long time to come.
