thank you everybody for your support. on monday 25th of novenmer it was announced at 9pm that simon has been aquited of any allegations and is now free to leave peru.
Please could somone email me, on katyevans67@yahoo.com and give me an address for simon in peru, so i could send or take over a care package. Or bokks ect? I want to help i have signed the petition. What else can i do ?????

You know there isnt too much a petition will do for you when your stuck in prison in peru.Its a nice thought and if you really want to know what simmon needs that would be vitimins and find out through his embessy if there is a way to send him a care package.then you can send him the food and clothes he will be in need of.The food down there is terriable and you dnt get fed 3 times a day either.also check with the embessy to see if he might need blankets and sheets. and books are always great to send also.Letters are also verry nice;it was helpful to me and my friends in there to have pen palls;helps to know your not alone and there are people out there to help you out,becarefull when dealing with the press bad press down there can help things for him or make them alot worse,so becarefull on that note.hope this helps some of you.I dnt know what prisson he is in or I could tell you more of the conditions he is liveing in.Some are better then others down there.any questions you can e-mail me at rt12161975@hotmail.com. just make sure they are nice,i dnt need to be harased or anything ok.
simon is still is peru, he is going to court today. unfortunately there is not much chance of getting simon home as he is still a witness in the peruvian court of law. he has a group on facebook called send simon home. there is a lot of info on there. there are lots of ways we can all help. i have spoken with simon everyday and he is in good spirits. His story has devestated me, I don't know how Sarah Jackson can live with herself.

on the 8th Nov, I`ll be there for three months. Can anybody confirm Simon still there? If he is, I`d like to make contact, we have family there, would be good to have him over for Christmas lunch maybe
I just could not believe that wicked woman smirking and sneering throughout the programme without any remorse for what she did to the guy...he probably couldn't believe his luck to be invited on 'holiday'by her...although I think I might have questioned Peru as a destination!
The guy is a real 'poor bugger' and something should be done to get him home, i couldn't believe it when I realised he was still there on his own...what a shame, can't we do something for this guy? what are the programme makers doing about it for a start?
I think i am still in shock at how utterly selfish, wicked and evil Sarah is. I hope she gets her 10 year sentence and more. I was confused too at how different she looked in the interview to the police footage - was this not her?
More to the point I feel so sorry and sad for poor Simon. He seems such a lovely guy. We must be able to help him somehow. I will investigate and let you know my findings....
I`m going to Lima in three weeks, does anybody know how I can contact Simon perhaps his family. It would be good to tell him he`s in peoples thoughts and at least buy him a decent meal!

I commented on how the actress playing the role of Sarah was nowhere near as attractive as the real Sarah. Then I saw the police footage of Sarah as a podgy, unattractive girl before her arrest. All I can say is that after 18 months in a Peruvian jail she looks fantastic - no money worries or loan sharks after her and it shows.
I am saddened by this story. I hope that the evil woman realises how cowardly and wicked she is. Considering how we in Britain protect criminals the govt should be pressurising Peru in letting this innocent Man come home immediately. Foreign Affairs get moving now if you want some respect from voters. Save Simon Now!!!!!!!
I'm also wanting to know if there is a petition to the Government to get Simon back home. Surely someone in his home town is pushing to get something done. What's his MP doing? If anyone needs help it's Simon!
I was thinking exactly the same thing, surely there is something we can do to help this poor guy, there is bound to be something to sign of some sort to send to number 10. This poor guy is living in a 1 room bedsit/type thing in Peru, with no-one, and I believe he is innocent and that Sarah deceived him into thinking it was just a holiday.

i was a seventeen year old girl who got mixed up with a married man and there was alot of friction between my family & him so when a man approached me and asked if i would go to australia i jumped at the chance and entered melbourne with six kilos of marijuana i got four years with a minimum of two in a mans prison same one as my best new friends boyfriend chopper resd.
I have just finished watching Russell Thoresen's story about him being forced into trafficing drugs through Peru. I found it very upsetting, he really was left with little choice & this made me think what he could have done - not much really. It was also very emotional to see how he is still affected by the betrayal of his ex 'Kim' which he is still coming to terms with. unfortunately there are ppl who will do anything for money and drugs and who will take advantage. Although Mark ended the story saying he was left with the unanwered Qg of whether Kim really did betray him it is obvious from his language and back tracking through the story for clues that he knows he was. Watching Banged Up has just reinforced my beliefs that i could never smuggle drugs, and if some1 asks you to then they don't love or care about you.
