I was wondering if it would be possible to apply formy parents to appear on the show. Both ensure they watch every day and are avid collectors of "stuff" themselves it would be a real suprise for them if it were possible.
regular viewer with my wife. She is hooked on Charles, Anita and Barby. As a surprise for her, I would like to apply to take part on the show. Anywhere in the country, as we are retired and have loads of time. (hopefully, before we go to the antiques room above.

How does one apply to participate in this programme? Although I live in France permanently now I am an avid watcher, and would love to take part in a programme with my dear cousin who still lives in England.Before I moved to France we would always make sure we took a day off from very stressful jobs to go to the Ardingly Antiques show. We would spend hours walking round, and would develope painful hips the next day. We used to say we were suffering from the "Ardingly Rock". I am retired from my work now, and my cousin is retiring at the end of November - I would love to arrange a visit to the UK so that we could participate together.

both my parents are very interestd in being part of the Bargain Hunt show. Dad is an avid collector of 16,000 Jokers, cigarette silks and stamps, Mum has a huge collection of book marks in the multi thousounds. If you have any info about being a contestant please email me so I can pass it on.

It's was disappointing on a show that relies on a certain expertise that Tom Wonnacott was allowed to make a fool of himself by informing us that birds are stuffed with cotton wool and sawdust. A glance at the most elementary book on taxidermy would correct this anecdotal chestnut.
