CCTV CitiesRunning Time: 65 minutes (approx)Big brother is no longer just a television spectacle, but a reality for many around the world. Indeed, the City of London is under constant video surveillance. Originally the CCTV cameras were installed to keep an eye on the potential threat that was the IRA. im a 21 yeard old young lady, from leeds. and i watched the cctv cities wigan, last night and i cant tell you how disgraced i was by how the police handled the situiations, one in particular ( when the coloured man, hhad teo knives trying to stab the two guys in the street) WHY THE HELL DID HE ONLY GET A SUSPRENDED SENTENCE, FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THAT WAS ATTEMPTED MURDER ! !. IF THAT KNIFE GOT THE MAN, HE WOULD BE DEAD, DONT YOU AGREE. SO MY QUESTION NOW IS. WHY IS EVERONE HAVING ALL THESE DEBATES AND PROGRAMMES ABOUT STOP KNIFE AND GUN CRIME. WHEN YOUR SHOWING PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT IF THEY TRY TO STAB SOMEONE, THEY ONLY GET A SLAP ON THE WRIST. I HATE THE FACT THAT ITS MY GENERATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE BEING LED ASTRAY, AND NONE OF YOU ARE DOING ANYTHNIG TO HELP,M BUT ARE MAKING IT WORSE. CANT YOU SEE ! ! !
Im a 21 year old young woman, trying to get my life on track, my carrer is to be a social worker and youth worker
to try and stop the next generation of young people to not go down that road because all it leads to is darkness. and all these programmes are not helping.
You should be ashamed to say you all are tryin to stop it ! ! !
