The multi-Emmy award-winning mini-series - exploring American history and focusing on one of its great founding fathers, John Adams - continues. The series chronicles the life of Adams, a man whose fiercely independent spirit, reverence for the rule of law and commitment to personal liberty influenced the values on which America was founded. The series also explores the extraordinary relationship between Adams (Paul Giamatti) and Abigail (Laura Linney), his wife of 54 years, a partnership regarded as one of the most moving love stories in American history.
In this episode, a new period of separation from Abigail looms when Adams is sent to France along with Benjamin Franklin. Their mission is to secure French financial and military support for America's Revolutionary War effort. Along the way they encounter a British warship.
I just love this series best for long time,it is absolutely brilliant. but I sadly missed 1st November,2008 will there be a repeat please. I suspect a lot of viewers are out on a Saturday.
