Bing (Coogan, pictured) is still gambling. Bernadette (Millett, pictured) can't take any more of it and throws him out, leaving him to take refuge at his dad's house.
Bing has always managed to win Bernadette's forgiveness and, although he knows it's going to be tougher this time, he still expects to do so. However, when it becomes clear that she has no intention of doing so, and makes new plans for a life without him, his gambling spirals out of control.
Bing's dad, George (Hill), tries to help his grandson, Joe (Dominic Senior, pictured), come to terms with the situation and consoles him about the reasons for his father's behaviour. However, even he can no longer justify or tolerate Bing's behaviour.
